The Heart of Holistic Health  Sports Injury Clinic

Struggling with a one-off sports injury?

Has it become a repetitive injury?

Based at The Heart of Holistic Health every Tuesday 16.00 – 21.00, we have brought together a number of our Specialist Therapists to support you with any injuries and with your sporting journey.

Amanda McGregor, Clinic Owner and Bowen Therapist is working with Michelle Russell, Cam Wickers, our Acupuncture and our Massage Teams, and together they will tailor a treatment plan for you...

We have a state of the art 3D scanning machine here at the clinic, and Michelle Russell will talk you through your results, bringing in those Therapists that can best treat your situation.  Michelle is herself a highly renowned fitness expert, personal trainer and nutrition adviser.  She can help with nutrition and fitness plans for recovery, helping you to perform at your best.

Amanda and Cam offer Bowen therapy, which is being used more and more by elite athletes to treat their injuries as it not only treats the injury itself but looks for and treats the root cause too. Making sure your core alignment is in the correct position can be the key to unlocking knee, ankle, hamstring, shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries. This combination means improvement can be immediate and recovery time reduced.

Our Acupuncture and Massage Therapists will also be brought on board should it be felt that this will support the treatment programme.  Their input continues to be invaluable.

Our clinic also focuses on maintenance treatments with the view that prevention is better than cure. A sports person at the peak of their physical fitness should be in a position that they are not constantly picking up injuries.

We are currently working with a number of sporting professionals, and you can read more about their journeys here - Sports Injury Blog

From Boxing, Cycling, to Football and Rugby, we have it covered!
