Osteopathy

Structural manual therapy for pain, mobility and function.

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. It works with the structure and function of the body, using hands-on techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain and support overall physical health.

Osteopaths use a combination of soft tissue work, joint mobilisation, stretching and manipulation to restore balance and encourage the body’s natural healing processes. Treatment is tailored to the individual and may support a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, joint stiffness, headaches, sciatica and postural issues.

Osteopathy also considers how lifestyle, stress and other health factors may be contributing to symptoms. It is suitable for people of all ages and may be used alongside other treatments as part of a holistic approach to care.

All osteopaths at The Heart of Holistic Health are fully qualified and registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
