Fibrotherapy

Treating - fibromyalgia, chronic pain, anxiety, poor sleep, digestive issues, or nervous system dysregulation.

FINDING COMFORT & CALM WITH SPECILISED FIBROTHERAPY

Living with Fibromyalgia often means navigating persistent pain, fatigue, and widespread discomfort that can affect every part of daily life. These symptoms are frequently linked to a sensitised and overactive nervous system, particularly the Vagus nerve, which plays a key role in regulating pain, stress, digestion, and sleep.

At FlexPoint, I understand how overwhelming this can feel. My specialised Fibrotherapy sessions are designed with a deep respect for your individual sensitivities, using a gentle, compassionate approach to help calm the nervous system, support Vagusnerve regulation, and improve your overall sense of comfort and well-being.

What is Fibrotherapy?

A Gentle, Specialised Approach

Fibrotherapy is a unique massage modality specifically developed to address the widespread pain, tenderness, and heightened sensitivity associated with Fibromyalgia. It avoids deep or aggressive pressure, which can often aggravate symptoms and overwhelm the nervous system.

Focus on Comfort & Relief

Unlike traditional massage, the primary goal of Fibrotherapy is not deep muscle manipulation. Instead, it focuses on creating profound comfort, reducing tenderness, and supporting the body’s ability to down-regulate pain responses.

Calms the Nervous System & Supports the VagusNerve

Many Fibromyalgia symptoms are linked to an overactive sympathetic (“fight or flight”) response. Fibrotherapy uses very light, flowing techniques designed to gently stimulate the Vagusnerve, helping to shift the body into a calmer parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) state. This can support pain modulation, relaxation, improved sleep, and overall nervous system balance.

Auricular Therapy: Enhancing Your Healing To deepen the therapeutic benefits and provide continuous support for your well-being, our sessions integrate specific Auricular Therapy techniques. This gentle approach focuses on key points on your outer ear, known to have a powerful connection to your body's nervous system and overall sense of calm.
